A Sad Day for Fashion

British designer, Alexander McQueen, has died at age 40.

McQueen received his fashion training at the Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design. He was best known for his unconventional designs, and theatrical runway shows, he was also named British fashion designer of the year four times.

At his spring-summer 2010 collection he featured snakeskin-printed cocktail dresses, with hoof-like platform booties.
