London

I thought it was only fitting to post a London look on my last day here. I have had the most amazing time here, and am really sad to be leaving on such a beautiful sunny day... Although I know the sun will be waiting for me when I get home.

Happy Home

I am staying at my brother and sister-in-laws home while here in London, and I am completely in love with it. Unlike me, Tabitha (SIL), was fully in charge when it came to decorating the gorgeous three-story house in South West London. Her amazing eye for design and colour makes such a happy, bright and colourful space.

The below home, seen on Glitter Guide, reminds me so much of my brother’s home – It is so beautiful and light, and filled with just the right amount of sparkle and pink. I adore the use of colour and the mix of eclectic ornaments, and unique art.

Tori, pictured in her home, is an event coordinator at Sitting in a Tree Events. She describes her personal style as eclectic, bohemian, super feminine, and a little bit hippie and beachy. Her home is filled with a carefully selected collection of things from all over (flea markets, travels, Design Within Reach, low to high end) that are layered throughout. - Glitter Guide
Inspired by colour!                                                                                                                                   xxx

Cath Kidston

Despite determination to keep up with my new year’s resolutions while in London, I have failed horribly! I have not posted once since I have been here…
I thought it was only fitting that my first post be somewhat “London” oriented.
I took my niece for a sneaky walk to Cath Kidston… Sneaky because she was sleeping, and clearly has no interest in Cath Kidston whatsoever.   I bought a few knickknacks, and a wonderful book – Sew!
I am super excited to start one of the many gorgeous projects set out in the book... Thus keeping up with at least one of my resolutions.

All images from the Cath Kidston website.

These are a few of my a favourite things... Who doesn't love florals.
