Stimulating Surroundings

While out for dinner with some friends recently, the topic of a stimulating work setting came up. As a person in a creative position, I believe in the importance of a setting that inspires creativity… This is not to say that one can only draw inspiration from the immediate environment. However, being the place you are expected to perform at your peak, for most of the day, an inspiring surrounding is no doubt beneficial.

Naturally, the Google offices came up in our conversation, so I was super excited to see that they had been featured on Refinery29 recently...

With spring upon us here in South Africa, I thought the Spring 2013 collection from Thakoon Panichgul made for a rather appropriate post. Nothing says spring like Cherry Blossoms, which featured in this whimsical collection along with beautiful bird prints, complimented by very literal interpretations of bird cages.
