I posted about my adoration of the whimsical photographer Tim Walker a little while ago (here), so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered these pictures of his Story Teller exhibition on A Girl, A Style.
The exhibition will showcase his charming portraits and his unparalleled editorials alongside many of his playful props.

I am sad that I will not get to see the exhibition, being in London, although I have the book on my wish list... maybe Santa Claus will bring it down my chimney this Christmas...

Life Lessons

Learning in life is one of the things I value most. We learn from every person we meet, and every situation that we encounter. The lessons are sometimes massive, and sometimes so small, and seemingly irrelevant. Sometimes these lessons cause pain, and others, such joy. Sometimes these lessons show us how much we still need to learn, and sometimes, they reassure us of just how much we already know. They will shape us, and change us, advance us, and enrich us. I hope that I will always have an open-mind, one that is hungry to learn, and experience new things. And most of all, I hope that I have the time to learn all that still want to learn.

Below is the latest collection from her Red Label and perhaps one of her more reserved collections. Comprised of pretty, feminine twin sets, skirt suits and cocktail dresses, the collection was very reminiscent of the 1950’s.
