Spontaneous Post

Wow, I am sucking at this blog thing – I had amazing plans for New Year’s posts, possibly a summary of what happened in the time I have been absent, a revised list of New Year’s resolutions…

The problem with me is that when things don’t go as I had planned, they don’t go at all – I could have examined this problem of mine, perhaps made some sort of plan to resolve it in the new year, but here I am, with my first post of the year – Not the way I had planned it – No sparklers or photoshopped images wishing you all a Happy New Year… Whoever “you all” may be.

So here’s to spontaneity in 2014.

Dear Never Never Land

My beautiful neglected blog!
Oh how I miss you... I think about you always.
I wish I could spend all day with you - filling you with gorgeous imagery, and magical musings.
I have great plans for us, and ask that you wait patiently, while I do as best I can, to make these happen.
Know I will visit you always, even if just briefly. And when I can, I will leave you with a little keepsake to remind you of me.

I promise to find the time to do what I really love - blog.

emmakisstina

emmakisstina by Emma Kristina Hultkrantz. Emma describes herself as an illustrator, dreamer, dancer, artist, doglover, doodler, domestic goddess, and a major girly girl... I love her gorgeous illustrations, which are available in her etsy shop.
Emma also has a blog, emmakisstina.

Jennifer Davis

I recently discovered Jennifer Davis, who describes herself simply, as "...a painter from Minneapolis".
I am in love with her whimsical themes, and her use of the most beautiful soft colour combinations which she creates using a combination of acrylic and graphite.

Singer

There is not one of these gorgeous paintings that would not look absolutely stunning in any area of my new home. My favourite is definitely "Singer", and has taken a priority spot on my endless wish list...

Jennifer also has her own blog, which you can view here.

Fifi Lapin

How many of you have heard about the fabulous Fifi Lapin? Called "The worlds most stylish bunny" by Elle magazine... This blushing bunny hops around in couture from Anna Sui to Zac Posen, and claims that there is a lot more to her than just an extremely stylish clotheshorse.

While browsing the blog world recently I discovered that this furry fashionista has her very own blog, and  has just released a book called "What Shall I Wear today". Naturally I logged straight into Kalahari.com and ordered myself a copy...

Cupcakes and Cashmere

A tribute to one of my favourite blogs “Cupcakes and Cashmere”.

Written by Emily, her blog is about all the things she loves… A notion, no doubt, shared by all bloggers alike.

Besides her clearly extensive wardrobe, and her incredible ability to put her outfits together so well, she also has the most enviable shoe collection...

On her blog, you will also find the most delicious recipes, as well as pictures of her home improvement projects.

Go on, follow the link...

Have an awesome weekend friends...Hopefully next week won't be so busy, and I will have some time to make up for the past two weeks of neglect.

Nancy Z

Nancy Zhang is an illustrator and concept art designer from Tian Jin, and more importantly my favourite “Lookbooker”(LOOKBOOK.nu). Her looks are always accompanied by a one of her adorable little illustrations.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I discovered Nancy’s blog “IT IS NANCY’S NEW BLOG” …making it more and more difficult for me to escape my computer screen everyday, her blog is a constant source of inspiration, and one of the most visually stimulating parts of my day.
